A typical drug test/alcohol test will usually last about 15 minutes. If you are unable to produce a specimen at the time of testing, it can take up to 3 hours. The technician will explain the procedure if this happens during your testing.
Yes, if you have a POCT (Point Of Collection Test) done. This test is similar to a home pregnancy test - you will get a result within 7 minutes. Most tests are performed as POCT tests. If your specimen has to go to the lab, you will get your results within a few days.
